I am pleased to welcome you all to the 20^th International Scientific Conference of the Dental Faculty Consortium of Thailand (DFCT 2023), organized by Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry during November 6-8, 2023, at Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Peach Exhibition Hall, Pattaya, with the pre-congress on transforming dental care with digital dentistry being held on November 5, 2023.

This year's conference will be even more special as we celebrate the 55^th anniversary of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry. Since our establishment in 1968, our dental school has tirelessly pursued excellence in dental education, research, and clinical practice. The past fifty-five years have been marked by many accomplishments, including the development of new dental technologies, groundbreaking research, and the training of a new generation of dental professionals. With this milestone celebration, we are proud to look back on our achievements while also looking forward to the future, and we are excited to share this momentous occasion with all of our esteemed guests and colleagues.

With the theme of this year's conference, "Moving together towards the New Dental Era", it is timely and obvious that we are now facing an era of unprecedented change and innovation in the field of dentistry. With new technologies and techniques continuously emerging, it is essential that dental professionals come together to share their knowledge, insights, and experiences. This conference will therefore present an unparalleled opportunity to do just that. By fostering collaborations, sharing best practices, and discussing the latest research findings through this conference, we can chart a course toward a new era of dental healthcare that is more effective, efficient, and accessible than ever before.
